Insomnia (or a 2 AM cat fight)

I guess it's a good thing I'm generally in bed and asleep before 10 PM since I was woken up at 2 AM or so by Chris' cat fighting with my cat. My cat instigates, sneaking in where she shouldn't be but his cat is a bitch and gets pissy. So I'm sitting here with some incense burning (Dragon blood...ahh, the memories) listening to the SOS Band and reading some blogs. I suss I'll be in bed by 7 PM tonight LOL! At least I got about 5 hours sleep, I think.

I've torn up this house somewhat looking for some poetry that I cannot find. I guess I have to start over. I specifically bought Adobe's Creative Suite to get InDesign to vanity publish a book when I'd had enough written. I'll keep looking but I think that composition book is gone, damnit! I keep tossing round the idea of sitting with my Ouija board but I've never had luck using it by myself and it seems everyone is scared to death of the things. It did tell me once where to find something I had lost. My mom and I used it back then to locate the item.

I was debating weather to write some now but nothing is coming to me, it's too early and I'm not in that mindset. I'm just rather numb right now LOL!

I started an Aran afghan the other night. Knitty Gritty had shown it a couple months ago. I got one block done, am in the middle of another one now. It's being done in a soft blue yarn. My mom had bought it for something or other and I think there's 10 skeins of it? Maybe 8. I'll go as far as I can go.I just wanted to use the yarn up. I'll post a picture when I've got a bit more done on it.

Sean~ But I'd need a Ouija board to talk to my mom now :-) She left this plane 3 years ago January. My cousin and I and my mom and I had some good fun with the Ouija in years past, and like Faerielady said sometimes it was amazingly accurate. They never bothered me but they scare the bejesus out of most people I've known since my mom & cousin used it with me. There's one sitting behind me now, Chris is terrified of it.

Maybe you should use the diagram/layout of your place, and a pendulum. I've seen that done before. Also, you might want to check in the bottom of a dresser drawer. I'm just sayin'...
Or, tell your cat to locate it. That works sometimes, too. Familiars, ya know.

I read once that using a ouija board is like picking a random number out of the phone book and prank calling it, and that there is no guarantee who will answer. I found the analogy interesting. Regardless, I refrain from using them, although dowsing can be helpful.

Lissa~ I like that analogy! That's pretty accurate, when I think of it. Picking a random number from a phone book. Dowsing is a possibility and Dave's suggestion of a pendulum is a good one as well. I've never used a pendulum before so I think I'll try that first.

I was going to suggest a pendulum too. Doesn't have to be a posh bought one, just something heavy on the end of a string, but NOT a cat held by it's tail - no matter how annoying it has been through the night.

Rain~ ROTFLMAO I was wondering why the cats were running when I was calling "Here kitty kitty." Was it the evil glint in my eye or the maniacal grin on my face? HA!
